Private Vault vs. Shared Vault?
Recently I changed about a half dozen passwords using one of my five devices. I used one of the devices (my laptop) to sign into 1Password and change all of those passwords. None of those new passwo...

6 months agoHello JiffyWriter1! 👋
I'm sorry that you're not seeing your new passwords on your other devices. As long as you're using the same 1Password account on all devices, you should see the same passwords in the Private vault on all devices.
So that I can better understand the situation can you tell me the following:
- Do you see a complete and up-to-date copy of your passwords and other items when you log in to your 1Password account on 1Password.com (in the browser, not the app)?
- Do you see a vault named "Primary" on any devices?
- Are you using 1Password 8 on all devices: Find the version numbers for 1Password and your operating system
I look forward to hearing from you.

Thank you, Dave. Apologies for the tardy response. Best to answer your questions as you posed them.
- Yes, when I log onto 1Password.com and sign in passwords are all there. I have noticed a new or edited login/ password combination entered into one device can take several days or more until it appears on all devices.
- No, have not seen Primary on any device.
- Yes, I believe all devices are up to date.

It should not take days for new items to appear. Private can sync to Private for sure. It stands for Private to you and not accessible by anyone else. Are you using a Mac? If so, can you check the following and ensure it's enabled.
1Password > Preferences (Settings) > General - Keep 1Password in the menu bar

Tommy- Thank you for your response. Yes, we are all Mac and iOS. Yes, I did check the app on my laptop and I see the checkmark, "Keep 1Password in the menu bar." If I change a password or add a new account login info on 1Password on my laptop, how long should it take to appear on my phone or iPad? Thanks again, Jeff

Moments in most cases. I can often watch and wait for it to arrive as I type on one device. Sometimes, the autofill cache can get stale. Are you talking about appearing inside the 1Password app itself or in autofill?
Let's pull out my black bag of ideas. Assuming it's not autofill, make sure you have cellular data turned on for the devices. I've seen cases when folks travel and disallow 1Password data access to conserve it until they return home. I know this one from experience, having traveled extensively in another life.
You might also ensure that if you're using a VPN, it's not blocking 1Password. I maintain an on-demand VPN. If not configured correctly, it might not make it, though.
We'd be more than happy to help troubleshoot if you wish to email us. I'm happy to continue here. The only trouble is that we can't access account or diagnostic report information here. That's why you see a lot of topics moved to email. Your privacy is paramount.
Perhaps the single biggest thing you can help with is recording some observations.
1. Create an item on the Mac. Check 1Password.com, is the item there? Check the Phone. Is it there? Notate the results.
2. Reverse the process and start with the phone and note the results.
What we're looking for is to determine if the trouble is getting the data to 1Password.com or if the trouble is getting data from 1Password.com and if it can be traced to one device as the culprit.
