Q re not filling passwords in private tabs

I am talking specifically about using one password on Android AND the computer.

I guess the question really is, Since the settings of 1password have an option to not use it in private tabs, Why does it have that option? 

Why would one NOT want to use it in private tabs?

Thanks for the reply. Just so that I can make sure that we're on the same page, can you post a screenshot of the setting that you're referring to from both your Android device and your desktop computer?

    sorry. that setting is in brave. 

    but the question still remains. why would one do it or not do it?

      If it is then you can find Brave's guidance on this setting here: How to enable extensions in Incognito windows (This is a third-party article not vetted by 1Password.)

      You may wish to avoid allowing extensions access to private windows if you don't want those extensions to see the webpages that you're browsing in those windows. You can find information about how 1Password in the browser uses your data and our privacy policy here:
