Questions about the dialog to update 1Password

6:10 am just one cup of coffee, not an excuse... I just had a pop up asking for my admin user and password. it was the typical dialog we see on Mac. I entered it in. Then thought is this an updat...

Hi harczuk - Thanks for taking the time to get in touch. I'd recommend having 1Password set to update automatically, as this will mean that you're always using the version that contains the latest bug fixes and security patches.

If you'd rather 1Password didn't check for updates automatically, you can adjust the setting in 1Password > Settings > Advanced, making sure that "Install updates automatically" is disabled, but this isn't recommended for the reasons above.
