Quick Access Pre-Filled Suggestion

Hello! When I access Quick Access on my Mac while on the desktop, Quick Access displays with my Time Machine password as a recommendation. I get the value of this feature, especially while on a website, but I absolutely don't want my Time Machine password being available as a suggestion. Is there a way to disable the desktop recommendation while using Quick Access?

    Hi there srimahav

    That would suggest that Finder has likely been added as a linked app to that item, which would look something like this:

    If so, click Edit, then the ā›”ļø remove button next to Finder, then Save to remove it, which will stop it being suggested when the Desktop (i.e. Finder) is in focus.
