RBC Website Login Fails
I don't seem to be able to delete this post -- but after several hours, the issue is gone. Absolutely no idea what happened nor what fixed it.
(IMHO being able to delete a post would be frikkin' nice feature.)

This seems to have started in the last month, but TBH not sure.
Landing on website 1P fails to identify the site from my list. Right-click doesn't invoke 1P. Clicking the 1P icon in the UID/PWD boxes reveals nothing and yields nothing.
In the browser menu bar, if I click the 1P icon, it reveals the website login but will not AUTOFILL.
macOS 15.5
Safari 18.5 (20621.2.5.11.8)
1Password for Mac 8.10.76 (81076034)
Any help would be appreciated.
I'm sorry that you're running into issues with autofill in Safari. Our development team is aware of the issue and are working with our friends at Apple on a fix. The issue is limited to Safari and other Mac browsers like Chrome or Firefox are not affected.
For the time being, opening the website in a new tab should get things working again when you do run into the issue. Alternatively, you can use 1Password's Universal Autofill to fill your logins instead of using 1Password for Safari: Use Universal Autofill in apps and browsers on your Mac

Hey Simon - the problem hasn't resolved itself. That's the bad news.
The good news is that I don't think it's just the RBC website. It happens on many/most of my URLs. That said, some site (TD.com, pizzaville.ca) are flawless and work even when the rest don't (pickering.bibliocommons.com, rbc.com, tangerine.ca) for example regularly fail.
In those instances, the 1P icon appears in the login entry fields but mousing over or clicking on the box or even the icon doesn't invoke the login information.
Going up to the browser frame and clicking on the 1P icon in the browser window reveals that 1P knows what site it's on and it presents the right login information. But pressing AUTOFILL does not autofill.
The only way to reinstate 1P is to unload it and restart. And they die soon after that fix.
I'm not a techie but my instinct is that something is not clearing and 1P gets blocked - like browser cache or working memory. Dunno.
Is this common? Any ideas of a fix?
Thanks.- 1P_Dave

Thanks, Dave.
I can conform both DUPLICATE TAB and UNIVERSAL AUTOFILL worked great, the latter being a slightly smoother experience.
In the short term, I appreciate the help and guidance.
In the long term, will there be a fix/when?
