Reason for not being allowed to share documents?
I've only got 2 days left to make a decision to purchase or not and I'm wondering why the program doesn't allow sharing Documents.

@NMLoki Isn't sharing a Google doc just sharing the link to that doc on Google? You can add as many URL custom fields to any 1Password item, so add one, enter the link to the Google doc in it, and share this 1Password item.
An example, just created for the sake of this post, share valid for 30 days:
