We have heard reports of backticks not being handled correctly in 1Password 8, and our development team are already investigating it, so I've added a link to this thread to our internal discussion to let them know about your case. No word just now on when it'll be fixed, but you can keep an eye on the 1Password Releases blog to see what's new as 1Password updates.
