Reverting back from Apple Passwords

Hi Dave,
Definitely latest version of 1Password, my beloved program.
I am using a new Mac 2 on latest OS Sierra but also access 1 Password on iPhone and iPad but it is the Mac I use most for high volume work. I have been using 1 Password with Safari extension and it has worked like a dream. Now I am in a real funk to lose it. When I turn the Apple Password off in System Settings, 1Password does not operate properly. It offers my email address, no password to sign in. I hope you can help Dave. I tried to nuke APPLE Password but it looks like a native app and refuses to die.
