Safari fields not recognizing 1P entries

Big 1Password fan, but lately the form fields on many (all) websites are failing to "see" that the 1Password Safari extension has entered information, so I have to go into each field and retype the i...

Yes I have also found this - it's dropping down to reveal 1password but then not auto filling it when clicking on it. I haven't a lot of faith in this safari extension I'm afraid
