Saving and passkey prompt issues on Uber.com in Chrome

I tried to use 1Password to change my password & set up a passkey on account.uber.com tonight in Chrome, and literally no part of it worked:
* Newly generated passwords would not autofill
* Copy-pasting the password from 1Password and trying to manually submit it did not work (Uber seemed to get stuck in a loop and kept sending me through an SMS verification and then back to the "change your password" screen.)
* In the passkey flow, the 1Password modal widget says an error occurred, while a system popup comes up prompting me to turn on iCloud Keychain to save the passkey:

If I hit Cancel, then a Chrome passkey popup shows prompting me to choose either Chrome profile or iCloud Keychain to save the passkey — no other options.

It all worked perfectly though when I switched to Safari and used 1Password there.

    Hi Enceladus,

    I'm sorry that you're experiencing trouble saving a passkey for Uber. I've tested things out in Chrome and was able to successfully save a passkey on the Uber website, so I'd like to look further into the issue for you.

    Can you confirm if you're encountering trouble saving a passkey for any other sites currently supporting passkeys? You can find a list of them here:

    Additionally, can you reproduce the steps you're taking when you run into the error message, and grab a console log from your browser for us to take a look at:
