search causes 1P to quit

I don't use 1P on my phone often but today, 1P is behaving the same way it did the last time I used it a few months ago. Specifically, I started the app, tapped the search field, expecting to bring up a keyboard only to see the app quit. Rebooted my phone but no change to the behavior. Finally, I figured out that doing some other action first such as going into a vault or tapping Items, then search would work. But it won't work from the Home screen initially.

 I'm using the latest version on iPhone 13 Mini with iOS 18.3.2.
