In the body of a Secure Note (version 8.9.5 for Windows), a backslash ( \ ) at the end of a text string gets dropped off when the Secure Note is saved. It re-appears if you click "Edit" to update the Secure Note, but disappears again from visibility when the Secure Note is saved again.

Actually, that does addresses it. Didn’t think about that as a potential cause. Thanks, ag_mike_d!

Hello @bvarian,
Thanks for your message and sorry for the troubles you've been seeing. Backslash (
\) is an escape character in Markdown. Does turning off Markdown formatting help? This can be found under Settings (Ctrl + Comma) > General > Format Secure notes using Markdown.Let us know if you have any further questions!
