Share sheet extension for 1Password 7

Long shot here, but now that 1Password 8 has been released (albeit in a beta capacity) for iOS and iPadOS, can we please have the share sheet extension back in 1Password 7? 1Password 7 has basically become completely useless within 3rd party apps on iOS because of this.

    The problem with both of these approaches is two fold. First, the 1Password for Safari extension only works in Safari (and only works with subscriptions, which is another issue entirely) and not in 3rd party browsers and apps. Second, Password Autofill, as the name implies, only fills in passwords, it DOES NOT fill in credit card info, addresses, etc.

    While it is quite possible that Apple will open up Safari extensions to 3rd party apps, it should not be dependent upon Apple to fix an issue with 1Password when the share sheet extension worked perfectly well.

    Hi @Ragnorok,

    The share sheet extension isn't part of the plan for 1Password going forward. We have two options available for filling credentials into apps on iOS and iPadOS:

    1. 1Password for Safari, which provides the same rich experience folks have become accustom to with desktop browsers
    2. Password AutoFill, which allows us to offer filling in apps other than Safari

    Both of these options are available in either 1Password 7 or 1Password 8. 😃
