short pin codes
I love 1password for its friendly user interface. However I have one problem. I often store pin codes or a code of a lock. I do not want this field to be directly visible so I store it as a password so it is protected by **** . And the nice thing about the password field is that you can show it in large font (this is very use fulle). When I do dit I get notifications that my password is too short for all my pin code fields. This is not very friendly because I would like too keep track on insecure passwords and no I have to figure out which one are pincodes and which one are not.
What I would like is a simple option to add a pincode instead of a password and that there is a new pincode field which works just like the password field but is not used in the watch tower. The only work around I found so far is to add a social security number and then to change the icon into something which makes more sense. Sometimes you also need a password field which can also be done using the social security number.
Would it not be better not to use work arounds? It would be much better if there was:
- An option to add a pincode or short code (with a nice lock icon)
- An pincode field which can be added to any item. (which functions like a password but is not checked by watch tower, so no weak or terrible behind it)

Not quite what you asked for, but you could always go through the weak passwords in watchtower and ignore all that are PINs (Watchtower -> Weak Passwords -> Click on the relevant one, then you should see the banner). This adds more friction for new accounts than a dedicated PIN field would and is a bit of manual work, but that way the watchtower metrics can be kept separate from those entries.

Thank you for the nice workaround. I will try it out. I hope 1password will make a new user friendly solution.

Good request - especially for indeed things like small locks or other things where the supplier just doesn't allow for proper security. Hope the mods can share your feature request!
