Shouldn't 1P ask for Master Password if iPhone Passcode changes?

After watching this WSJ https://www.wsj.com/articles/apple-iphone-security-theft-passcode-data-privacya-basic-iphone-feature-helps-criminals-steal-your-digital-life-cbf14b1a, I immediately went and changed my iPhone passcode to something stronger.

However, I was dismayed to see that having done this, 1P still allows me to open the app with only my face-id. Doesn't this mean that, should someone see me enter my iPhone passcode and steal my device, they would be able to access my 1P after having changed my device passcode and added a new face?

For security, shouldn't 1P automatically prompt for the Master Password upon the device having a new passcode set?

    Hi there @eccgecko

    1Password will be told by iOS if the enrolled face (for Face ID) or fingerprints (for Touch ID) have changed, and will always prompt for your account password in those cases, so in the situation you describe, a new face wouldn't work. The device passcode can't unlock 1Password anyway, so we don't need to prompt for the account password in the event that it changes.
