Sorting order login items, etc.
If you open a random category item in the sidebar the sorting order of the items are defaulted to "date of change" these days. I always use the alphabetical order, but that doesn't work anymore. Every time you change category it is set back to "date of change". This is a big bummer, really.
Any way to solve this?

Hello folks,
We’ve fixed an issue where the sorting for an item list wasn’t maintained after you navigated away from the current list. Please update to 1Password version 8.11.8 or later.
If you're still seeing an issue then let me know. Thanks again for reporting the issue for your patience.

When I encountered this problem in the previous version, I saw the above correspondence 14 days ago and optimistically thought, “Great, so the problem will be solved in the next update.”
However, when I saw that this problem continued in today's update, I was disappointed.
As a result, it should not be so difficult to solve such a simple and basic issue.1Password for Windows 8.11.4 (81104027)

I'm sorry for the disruption. A fix is being tested in the nightly version of 1Password, once testing is complete it'll be released to the beta and then stable versions as well.

Unfortunately, the problem still persists in version 8.11.6 (81106027) released yesterday.
We are eagerly awaiting a solution from the 1Password team.

Hi Fresco,
Thanks for reporting this! I'm seeing the same issue in the beta version, but not in the current stable release. Let me know if you switch back to the stable and are still seeing it.
In any case, I've reported this to the team so they know there's been a regression. Sorry for the inconvenience!

I just checked on the stable version (8.11.2), and I see the same issue there. I have a Ubuntu PC (24.04.2 LTS), too, and after installing the .deb file from the 1Password website (so, not the snap store version) it turns out it has that issue also.
