Suddenly 1password keeps intruding into browser - Bug?
Has something changed with recent updates? My main 1Password window from my opened app keeps coming to the fore with every Firefox window or even tab that I open. Honestly, it is very annoying and an new behavior, starting less than 2 weeks ago. This still happens if the open 1Password app is hidden. It does not happen when the 1Password window is minimized to the dock.
The other odd behavior - even though I have opened my 1Password app, the browser extension insists that I click the 1Password icon in the tool bar and enter my password again. My recollection is that once the main app was opened, I did not have to enter my password again within the browser toolbar.
This happens in Chrome as well.

Hello Roaming_Bob! 👋
I'm sorry that you're seeing the 1Password desktop app's main window pop-up unexpectedly. I'm not able to reproduce the same issue on my end. So that I can better understand the situation can you tell me the following:
- The next time that the issue occurs, if you right-click on the 1Password icon in your browser's toolbar and click Settings, do you see a green dot in the browser settings page? Or a different coloured dot and an error message?
- Do you have 1Password set to run in the background even if the main window is closed: 1Password desktop app > Settings > General > Keep 1Password in the menu bar should be turned on.
I look forward to hearing from you.-Dave

I hope this report gets elevated to their bug list for triage. I agree, the constant prompting and the intrusion of the main 1Password application window is really annoying, I’m holding out hope that they fix this because my vault of passwords is enormous and hate the idea of transitioning to another password management app, even the native Mac and iOS one.
