The "Open 1Password" doesn't work when minimised

If 1Password is already open, but minimised, the "Open 1Password" option from the top bar menu does nothing. I expect it to behave the same regardless of the window state. If it's closed, I'd like ...

Hello viraptorenvato! 👋

I'm sorry that you're running into issues when opening 1Password. I'm not able to reproduce the issue on my end, here's what I'm doing:

  1. Open and unlock the 1Password for Mac desktop app.
  2. Click on the yellow circle in the top left corner to minimize 1Password to the Dock.
  3. Right-click on the menubar icon and click Open 1Password.

At this point the 1Password window maximizes from the Dock. Can you let me know if I misunderstood the issue?

I noticed that you're running macOS 14.6.1, just in case please update to macOS 14.7.1, restart your Mac, and then try to reproduce the issue again.
