Touch ID sensor is currently unavailable
I'm having the same issue. Updating to MAC OS Tahoe 26.1 may have caused it. IOS 26 no issues.

I'm sorry that you're running into issues when using Touch ID to unlock 1Password on your Mac. I've split your post into a new thread since the other thread is quite old at this point.
Can you tell me a little more about the issue:
- What is the specific error message that you're seeing?
- Can you successfully use Touch ID to unlock the Mac itself?
- What version of the 1Password desktop app are you using: Find the version numbers for 1Password and your operating system
