Feature request: Default correct account for site when multiple exist
With a family account using sharing, there are many cases where multiple accounts exist for one site. It would be nice if 1Password was smart enough to recommend the account tied to the user who is signed into 1Password as the default one to use when you go to the site. In other words, if I go to a site, I want to see my account show up as the account to use for autofill and if my wife goes a a site, she should see hers. Right now, she always sees mine as the recommended account to use and she has to do extra work to pick hers. This primarily happens on iOS where there is a single option shown and a key to the right that lets you get more options to select from.

I am still here and was just about to reply saying the same thing that jetkins just said. Being the "IT" person for the house and for a second family account where I'm playing IT for my parents, I'm on numerous shared vaults and I would really prefer that the default account shown be mine if I'm on a particular site where multiple accounts exist for the same site.

Came here to make the same suggestion. Hard to believe this is still a thing one year later.
Or are OP and I missing something?

Hi jetkins, thanks for commenting. And to the original poster - I'm sorry your post went unanswered for so long, that's not the experience we want anyone to have.
When multiple logins for the same website exist in a family account, 1Password doesn't currently have a way to prioritise the right one per-user. Favouriting an item will cause it to appear first in the list, but favourites are account-wide, rather than per-user, so everyone would see the same login prioritised.
If each person only ever signs into their own account, keeping those logins in individual private vaults rather than a shared vault would solve the problem. However, if there are times when you need to access each other's logins too, that workaround falls short and you'd still need to keep them in the shared vault and manually select the right one each time.
I can definitely understand how being able to identify and prioritise your own login would make things more streamlined here, and I'd be happy to file a feature request on your behalf.
If you're happy to share any examples of the types of logins you'd keep in a shared vault even when each family member has their own account, as well as the rationale for this, that would help us understand the full picture when passing this on.

Came here via a Google search with the same question/request. One use case for my family is airline logins. Each of us has a separate login for each airline rewards program, and it can be cumbersome to manually select the correct login each time; it would be great if 1Password always defaulted to my own login when I’m logged in under my account (for some reason, it always defaults to my son’s United login even though he doesn’t have a 1Password account, and I’ve favorited my United login in the app).
