Two suggestions for making the menu bar item and Quick Access more useful
In general I love 1Password 8, but I am missing 1Password Mini. I find myself clicking on the menu bar item multiple times a day, expecting to get 1Password Mini.
Two suggestions for getting a little closer to the convenience of the old system while keeping what's new and better:
Have the menu bar item open Quick Access, with buttons within Quick Access for Open 1Password, Lock, and Quit.
Add Edit to the More Actions section in Quick Access, which would open the item in 1Password already in edit mode.
1Password Version: 8.7.0

OS Version: 1.6.5

Thanks for the kind words and great ideas! I would use the edit action pretty regularly myself.
I'll have these feature requests filed internally for discussion and prioritization.

Above I meant specifically what's new and better about Quick Access, which is that it provides systemwide autofill.
I don't doubt that many users have had issues and there are things I miss about 1P 7 (granular search is one), but my experience with 1Password 8 has been generally positive. As a 1P user since 2015, I remember that the basic function of reliably suggesting and capturing new passwords in browsers used to be much less reliable. 1P 8 feels to me like a culmination of a change that started with the "new" browser extensions a couple of years ago in which that process has gotten more and more solid.

I would be interested in what you think is "new and better" about 1Password 8, because so much has been broken that I have been forced to revert to 1P7 to maintain productivity, and maintain my sanity as well.
