unable to add 1password browser extension - new install

Every time I attempt to add the 1Password browser extension (Edge browser) I receive this error message "The add-on could not be verified as the add-on manifest file is invalid."

1Password Version: 8.9.14
Extension Version: Not Provided
OS Version: windows 11
Browser:_ edge

    Funny you say that! I had checked the update several times; all reported that Edge was up to date. Re-checked this evening and suddenly Edge updates itself and the plug-in installs right away.

    Working like a champ now. Thanks

    Can you confirm if your Edge browser if fully up-to-date by clicking Edge > About Microsoft Edge? If there's a new update available, can you update and then try to install the 1Password extension from the following link:

    • https://microsoftedge.microsoft.com/addons/detail/1password-%E2%80%93-password-mana/dppgmdbiimibapkepcbdbmkaabgiofem
