Unable to fill login credentials on Android
Does anyone know if existing passwords in 1password can be migrated to a more reliable password manager? I am so sick of this software.... again!
This program just will not fill in details and passwords on my Android phone. I have experienced the same ages ago until it just started working out of the blue, but yet again it's out and I'm absolutely over it.
And yes, I've updated my phone from Android ver 15 to 16. And yes, I've checked for the millionth time 1password is set as the default manager etc. And yes I've cleared the cache etc. Sometimes it works but for the most part it just does nothing. Basically you have to go into 1password and manually bring up the required details and copy and paste the details yourself. I've not changed any settings prior to the program becoming useless, just like last time where it just decided to Work one day, but I'm suck of this. It works wonderfully in my computer but I'm just over it.
So any replacement password manger solutions welcomed

Hi pjr, thanks for writing in! I'm really sorry to hear autofill isn't working on your Android device. I can definitely understand your frustration here.
If you'd be willing to trouble shooting with us, could I ask you to try the following?
If Chrome is your browser:
- Open Chrome.
- Click the three dots ( ⋮ ) on the top right, then tap Settings > Autofill Services.
- Tap Autofill with Google, then tap Restart Chrome in the popup that appears.
If you're not using Chrome, or if you're still seeing issues after the steps above:
- Open and unlock the 1Password app.
- Tap the account/collection icon on the top right.
- Tap Settings > Autofill.
- Tap Display autofill prompts then tap Below the fields they relate to.
- Open your device settings, then tap Apps > 1Password > Force Stop.
- Reopen the 1Password for Android app, then try filling.
If 1Password for Android still doesn't fill as expected I'd like to ask a few questions to help determine the issue:
- Which browser are you using?
- Have you noticed this behaviour in specific apps/websites? If so, which?
- What type of Android device are you using?
- Do you use Gboard, or another keyboard?
Let us know how that goes, and thanks again!
