Unable to use biometric login for Chrome on PC
I have tried searching the forums here but have not found the answer for my issue. The Windows Hello biometric fingerprint unlock works well for my PC, and it used to work on my Chrome browser but for some reason the browser defaults to the password all the time. Would like to return to using my fingerprint reader to wakeup my Chrome extension. Thanks In advance for any help you can provide.

Not that I can recall, but I may have done it with an update. Sounds logical that an action like that would fix the issue, eh?

Yes I am able to open to 1P desktop app with my fingerprint. I was having to enter my password in the Chrome popup all the time for the last few weeks until this morning.
The functionality has returned but I am not sure how or why. I did go into the desktop app in settings - security to make sure Windows Hello was authorized to perform the unlock (it was) but I made no changes to that setting.
I am happy that the fingerprint unlock is working again, would be even happier if I knew why.

Can you unlock the 1Password desktop app with Windows Hello? Are you entering your account password in the 1Password browser extension pop-over or the 1Password desktop app window?
