Unlocking behaviour is bothersome

Lately I am seeing "erratic" behaviour re unlocking my 1P account. I do have it on biometric unlock with "Confirm my account password" set for every 14 days. But this month I am prompted to unlock my account by entering my password but there is no reference, as I used to see, to the 14 days previously shown under the empty password enter line. And if I reboot the phone w/o having entered the pw, I am back to biometric for a little while more. And just now I did enter the password and all was good for maybe 10 minutes ie biometric back on but then I was again prompted to enter the password.
