upgrade to macOS 12.7, safari extension 8.10.46 does not work

Recent upgrade of macOS to 12.7.6. Safari 15.6.1. 1Password for safari extension 8.10.46.34

Extension icon on browser locked. Going to settings on extension takes you to blank safari tab/page.

Solutions tried 1) deleted safari extension, empty bin, reinstalled new - no change. 2) cleared history - no change.

Any advice on solution would be most welcome. RS

1Password Version: Mac 8.10.44
Extension Version: 8.10.46.34
OS Version: macOS 12.7.6.
Browser: Safari 15.6.1

    Hi Evon, thank you for your assistance. I managed to update Safari to 17.6 which solved the issue. Thanks RSA

    Safari 16 is the https://support.1password.com/system-requirements/#system-requirements-for-the-1password-browser-extension that works with 1Password. I'm afraid there won't be a way to use the latest version of 1Password for Safari with Safari 15.6.1.

    Is there a pending update to Safari? Here's how to check -> https://support.apple.com/en-us/HT201541. In the macOS software update section, click "more info" to select Safari to update without upgrading your operating system.
