4 months agoHi BHyahoo,
I learned there's a Safari bug we've reported to Apple that is specifically causing this issue on some Intel Macs. The good news is that there are a couple of workarounds, but I'll start with the easier one first:
- If Safari is open, fully quit Safari by right-clicking(ctrl + click) its icon in the Dock and selecting Quit.
- Open Finder > Applications. Drag 1Password for Safari.app to Trash and Empty the Trash.
- Re-open Safari.
- Select History > Clear History. Clear history for each profile (clearing one hour back is enough).
- Fully quit Safari again by right-clicking its icon in the Dock area and selecting Quit.
- Open and unlock the 1Password for Mac desktop app.
- Click Help in top menu and select Fix Missing Safari Extension.
- Reinstall 1Password for Safari from the App Store.
- Hold down the shift key while clicking the Safari icon to open it.
If you follow those steps, does 1Password show back up in Safari? I look forward to hearing from you.
