Version 8 search functionality

I too want to see the Version 7 search functionality restored.

+1 where can we vote to have an option to bring back the version 7 search function? I'll wait a little longer, but I'll be going back to previous version if it's not implemented soon.

Regarding your question, @cec716, feature request tracking is done internally but we do our best to capture all the input we get here in the community and update threads when issues have been resolved!

Another place to check is the 1Password for Mac Beta Releases. Even if you don't use the beta yourself, the release notes will give you a good idea of what may be coming down the pipe. Let me know if you have any questions. 🙂

How many more complaints about your new search do need to finally revert to the far superior search of 1PW7?

+1... Just upgraded and found this frustrating..
1P_PeterG is there any kind of tracking system to vote instead of finding items discussions? (e.g. JIRA or GitHub 'issues' list )
This seems to be a 1P8 specific issue, and it's hard to search the discussion forums specific to that... or follow updates on a feature request.

Thanks Peter. If you look at 1Password 7, you will see that this functionality already existed.

Well, the other problem is that while searching within a tag, if attempting to go back to that tag list to review another card within the tag list. it goes back all the way out to the category list. Extremely annoying!
