We have two individual 1 password accounts. 1password will only let me sign in using the vault.

Is this happening in the 1Password app, or in the browser extension?

I did that. It works one time then it defaults back to the previous master password. I check and the preferences and the old vault (the previous password that it keeps defaulting to) is no longer there, just the new one (1 account) . I have cleared my history and restarted my computer. I can't figure it out.

Hi @HJO!

Under 1Password Preferences > Accounts tab, you need to remove your two accounts there, and add them in reverse order. 1Password will prompt you to unlock the app with the Master Password of the first account in the list there, so from what you are saying it sounds like you added the accounts in the wrong order.
