What conditions cause 1Password to prompt for Touch ID or password to unlock?

After leaving my iPad unused for a day or two, 1Password repeatedly asks me to authenticate with Touch ID or sometimes my master password when I try to autofill forms in Safari. It doesn’t stay unloc...
