What does "Unlock more easily" do?

I just updated and was prompted with "Unlock more easily. Easily unlock Password with your device instead of entering a password. Choose how you'd like to unlock." Unlock using Touch ID is set to On ...

It might have been the original preference was not read correctly. If you have it (feature) on now you can ignore it.
