When is 1Password Mini used vs an extension in a browser?

I was going through the 1P settings and noticed Mini. When is 1P mini used vs a browser extension? Should I enable both? Is there ever a time when one is used as opposed to the other? Should I disabl...

Thank you for the reply. The browser extension doesn't work on every site. I Created a keyboard shortcut to call up 1P.
