I understand that you'd like to be able to leave 1Password unlocked for longer to make it more streamlined to use general website logins, while requiring your password again for specific items or folders that need more protection.
Could you tell me a little more about the sorts of situations that would lead you to use this type of option? For example, do you use 1Password where others might see, or regularly leave your device unlocked where someone else might be able to access it?
The reason I'm asking this is to help us to better understand your needs and file a detailed feature request on your behalf. Thanks!
