Why was the Apple Watch app removed without warning
I’m hoping someone from support can enlighten us as to why the Apple Watch app was removed without warning.
I’m not even asking for an explanation of why it is removed in general, but why there was no warning about it? Not even a mention in the app description.
This is eerily similar to the removal of the share sheet extension without warning in a 1P7 update. I.e. not a good look at all.

Wonderful! Finally something beyond radio silence. Thanks for the reply. Still think that the lack of the Apple Watch app should have been prominently mentioned in the 1P8 release notes, instead of making people feel like they're losing their minds looking for a feature that no longer exists.
Really disappointed that no one from support could respond to this. Even more disappointed that the App description for 1P8 still doesn’t mention the lack of Apple Watch support.
I’m strongly questioning my decision to stay with 1Password given all the issues and feature regressions with 1P8. I’m also fairly sick and tired of the constant refrain from support that “we don’t have anything to share at this point” or “we don’t like to talk about future plans.” Please give your frustrated users some kind of olive branch, any hint that things might get better.
noraar Apple Watch app was not "removed" from 1Password 8. 1Password 8 is a total re-write of the 1Password app. There are quite a few features that are currently in 1Password 7 but have not yet made it into 1Password 8. In time, some if not all of these "missing" features will be added to 1Password 8. The current interim suggestion from the 1Password team is to keep 1Password 7 on your device in order to interact with your Apple Watch.
