4 years agoWill there be an email sent when Watchtower triggers an alarm (e.g. compromised password)?
I was wondering if I get somehow notified if the Watchtower discovers something (e.g. a password that I use that has been leaked). Of course I can open Watchtower within the app, but do I have to do this proactively or do I somehow get notified? Same question for Windows.
Thanks a lot in advance!

Hi Jack_P_1P,
Thanks a lot, this was exactly what I was looking for. Just needed people to know without regularly opening the app and going to the watchtower dashboard.
Consider this solved!
Best regards
Tosch

Hi @tosch:
To protect your privacy, all Watchtower checks happen locally on your device. About Watchtower privacy in 1Password
While you won't receive emails, you can have 1Password in the browser send notifications if one of your items is added to Watchtower. Right click the 1Password icon in your browser's toolbar, then choose Settings:
Let me if that makes sense!
