Will there be conflicts with 1Password and Apple's new Password Manager?
I use 1Password family with me and 3 family members. I plan to upgrade my MacBook Pro to macOS Sequoia at some point here. I hear that Apple is replacing the Keychain with the new Password Manager. I'm worried that there may be conflicts. For my browsers (Safari and Chrome) I've disabled the built-in password stuff so it doesn't conflict with 1P. But what happens with their Password Manager comes along? Do I need to disable it? Can that even be done if it replaces the keychain? Please advise.

As long as you've followed the steps in the article that I posted, you should be all set. 🙂

Hi Dave. I've already disabled built-in password saving, etc., in Safari and Chrome. Is this something extra that has to be done in Sequoia with the new Apple Password Manager? Thanks.

Hello ajahn! 👋
Thanks for the question. I've been using macOS 15 Sequoia since it was released with no issues. You won't experience any conflicts as long as you turn off the built-in password manager:
The new Apple Passwords app works the same as as their built-in password manager always did except now there's a new UI added to the front-end of the app. If you do run into any issues then let me know and I can help further.
