Getting an error message when trying to leave a comment

I keep an error message when trying to post a reply: Content Not Published Your post contains invalid HTML. Remove the following invalid tags before publishing: a, a (data-airgap-id), li-user

    The workaround is a real pain, but works consistently for me:

    1. edit your comment,
    2. unlink every link,
    3. save your unlinked comment,
    4. edit your comment,
    5. re-link all the former links, and
    6. save your comment.

     

    Last time I looked, I could not the original report of this bug from around the launch of the new Community. Sadly, this penalises folks who put the effort into properly linking resources in their posts.

After working around the bug which prevents replying with links or just about any markup - i.e. more useful replies - for ages, this instance of the infuriating

Your post contains invalid HTML. Remove the following tags before publishing

error (as if we were marking up our posts in HTML in the first place) resulted from a reply which contained nothing but typed plain text.
