Hi, Not sure if this is the right place, but I was guided here by the friendly AI chat-bot. I have a feature request: As a user I'd like to be able to log in with only my security key (e.g. yubi key) no password required. Note: not as a MFA factor. //Magik5Views0likes0CommentsHow to use Passkeys on Temp Device
If i made a passkey for some site on my phone, lets say github, and then I needed to log into github from someone else's computer, there's a way to do that. you click passkey on different device, then it generates a QR code that you scan with your phone, then my phone asks for a thumbprint or my PIN and then i click yes and the site logs in. not my favorite user flow, but it exists and it works now lets assume instead that my github passkey is in 1password. my 1password is not on the device that i need to log in on. how do i log into github now? since 1password works pretty different on PC and on Android, if the answer is different i'd like both.92Views0likes8CommentsTwo different passkeys for one site (Paypal)
Hello, I have a private Paypal account and a business Paypal Account. I have Passkey configured on my private Paypal account. So each time, I open the Paypal page, I get the popup to open my private account with Passkey. But I want to open my business account. So I have to cancel many times 1Password Popups to be able, to set my business account email for login. So is it possible, 1Password can handle two different Passkey for one site?9Views0likes0CommentsUnable to save Passkey for Revolut

I've noticed that whenever I attempt to login to Lowes.com using passkeys, 1Password appears to be bypassed and I'm presented with the OS prompt for passkeys. I've confirmed this in Chrome and Firefox, and on Windows and Mac. Other sites seem to work fine and 1Password picks up on the passkey request.Solved89Views0likes8CommentsUnable to create and save a passkey in Costco android app
I am getting the error message when trying to create a passkey in the Costco android app on my Samsung S22 Ultra phone: "Unable to save passkey. Hello. I’m running 1Password 6.3.2 on my iPhone running OS 18.6.2. I had a catastrophic loss of my iPhone and all data. New iPhone now with Chrome as primary browser. I can’t figure out how to get the 1Password extension into Chrome so when I create sign in and passwords on new websites it will ask me if I want to save in 1Password. I do not want keychains or browsers storing logins. thanks and sorry if this happens to be an exhaustive question.25Views0likes5CommentsWhen signing into certain websites on Edge, I see a passkey prompt from Windows
I want all of my passkeys saved to 1Password on Windows 11. I never want to be prompted by Windows Security, Chrome or Edge's built in passkey repository. I have: 1Password set as the default password manager for Chrome and Edge Passkey and password's creation prompt turned off on Chrome, Edge and Windows Autofill and Save options all enabled on the 1Password browser extension for Chrome and Edge And yet when I go to login to Siriusxm.com on Edge, I am prompted by Windows Security for a passkey: This would set it up (or pull from) Windows Security. Why isn't 1password pop-up pulling up instead? I even went as far as doing the registry hack to stop Windows for prompting for passkey: HKEY\_LOCAL\_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Policies\Microsoft\Windows\System\NoPasskeyPrompt Then I see where 1password partnered with Microsoft to use their passkey repository. So for me this is total and absolute confusion. Here are my questions: Why doesn't 1password have an option in settings to go off and disable all other password and passkey managers (including Windows)? If not technically possible, why not have a big article that is emailed out to everyone showing them how to do this? Does 1password go to every passkey-enabled site to verify it works with 1password? Is it required that Windows Hello be disabled for passkeys to be created and stored in 1password without Windows Security prompt popping up (like above)? If so, how to use Windows Hello in order to get into 1Password (other than typing in master password)? Based on many of the other same type of topics in this forum, it seems I'm not the only one experiencing this issue. Last time I asked, it was 3 months ago saying that 1password team would get an answer and back with me. No response. I really think that 1Password team needs to get together and resolve all of these issues (including communications) and to make it easier for the end-users to save everything to 1Password and not get prompted by anything else for passkeys/passwords.75Views0likes6Comments1Pass Blocks Google Passkey login process on Android
I have a Google Pixel 10 XL. I've noticed this issue where when I log into an app or website on my phone, and choose sign-in with my Google account, the passkey login process doesn't work. I don't get an option to authenticate using my biometrics or anything else. In order to resolve this, I have to go into my Android security settings and change my preferred service from 1Password to Google. Then the sign-in process for that app works normally. Then I can change my preferred service back to 1Pass. Obviously this is a problem if I have to constantly switched my preferred service. What's going on here?4Views0likes0Comments
