Almost all of our passwords (part of a business account with ~12 people) need to use the "Only fill on this exact domain" autofill option, so it would be nice if that could be set as the default. 1Password Version: 8.10.3 Extension Version: 2.8.1 OS Version: Win 11 Browser:_ Chrome Referrer: forum-search:https://1password.community/search?Search=default%20autofill3.1KViews18likes73Comments1Password for Windows on Arm (Preview)
Oct 10: We're leaving preview! Please migrate to the official build of 1Password for Windows (Arm): https://1password.community/discussion/148614/1password-for-windows-arm. Thanks everyone for your feedback. Aug 21: Updated the preview build with a version that does not expire. Please uninstall any previous versions of the ARM preview before installing this one. Hello all! It's an exciting time for Windows PCs with Microsoft's big announcements this week of the new Surface line, Copilot+ PCs, and, of course, the availability of devices based on the speedy, Arm-based Snapdragon X Elite processor. Not to be left out of the fun, we'd like to share with you the first preview release of 1Password for Windows on Arm. 💪🥳 Of course, it's already possible to install and use 1Password on Arm-based Windows PCs, but until now the app has run in a slower x86 emulation mode. This is our first Arm-native build of the app, which means it is able to take full advantage of the new silicon. Early indications are that 1Password for Windows on Arm is blazing fast (and we haven't even got our hands on the new Copilot+ PCs — yet!) Things to know about the preview release This preview build for Windows is based on the current stable channel release of 1Password (version 8.11). We are calling it a "preview" for three reasons: We have done limited testing on real hardware outside of virtual machines, as the new Copilot+ PCs have only just been announced. If 1Password is already installed on your PC, you'll need to uninstall the app before installing the Arm preview. Your accounts will transfer over to the preview build, but I strongly recommend setting up a recovery code before uninstalling the app to be safe. This build of the app app will not update automatically — you will need to check back here for announcements and future releases. Apart than these considerations, the build is a complete experience, and you should expect to find the full level of functionality that's already available in 1Password for Windows. Get the preview release If you'd like to be among the first to experience 1Password for Windows on Arm, download and install the preview release: 1Password for Windows 8.10.40 (ARM64) MSI installer Please let us know how it works for you by sharing your feedback in this thread. The more quality feedback we have, the sooner we'll be able to exit preview and make the Arm version of the app available to everyone. 🔥 -Mitch6.2KViews12likes46CommentsNew Feature "Expiry date" - Where is the alert?
I would like to know if I just don't understand it or if it doesn't work. I have added a date to an item and set an alarm for the day before. But no alarm appears on the day of the alarm?! I can only see that the item is expiring or about to expire when I navigate to the item itself or look in the watchtower. However, I understand "alert" to mean something else. My expectation is that there is either a notification from 1Password or I at least get some kind of indication on the main screen, e.g. a newly introduced category "expired" with a red 1 on it or something. Is there anything else planned, as I don't find it very helpful as it is now.Solved2.1KViews9likes29CommentsWells Fargo Passkey Not Saving In 1P

Hey 1Password community! We’re thrilled to announce the release of our streamlined sign-in experience, now available to all users. This update makes signing into 1Password on a new device faster and easier than ever, without sacrificing security. 🎉 You can now scan a QR code via 1Password using your iOS or Android mobile device, confirm the new device, and you’re instantly signed in – no need to type in your account password, Secret Key, or other info. After listening to your feedback, we’ve fine-tuned the sign-in process to make it more convenient: The QR code flow works whether you’re adding 1Password to a new desktop or mobile device. Already signed in on your phone and want to sign in on your desktop? Easy! Or if you're signed in on your desktop and want to add your phone, the same process applies. If you’re using Single Sign-On (SSO) on your 1Password Business account, you’ll still complete your IdP verification. This isn’t just about convenience, it’s about security too. The QR code creates a secure, encrypted connection between devices, ensuring your credentials stay private. Plus, the code itself doesn’t contain sensitive info, making it safe from screenshots or shoulder surfers. 🛡️ Find more info about the security behind it https://support.1password.com/qr-code-security/. 💡 Still prefer your current sign-in process? No problem! Existing manual sign-in options are still available, so you can choose the method that works best for you. This enhanced experience is now live across all desktop and mobile apps, for both personal and business users, so make sure you’ve updated to the latest version of 1Password. Give it a try today! 🙌 https://youtu.be/5YJLvKGHp3c2.8KViews8likes23CommentsEasy two-way linking of related items (suggestion)
I understand that linking related items is one-way by default, but the majority of the time, I want to have 2 way links. Creating two way links is a bit tedious. I first go to create the first link which involved editing the item, adding a related item field, searching for the related item, and then saving the edits. Then I use that link to go to the related item and repeat the same steps to edit that item. If I'm making a lot of links (say to a new credit card), then it can be easy to miss one. How about adding a button when editing that says "make link 2-way" (or something to that effect). Where the yellow box is in the following image: Alternatively, when I go to choose the related item on the second item to make the reverse link you would add a "suggested links". Though the later options sounds more annoying to implement given that you'd have to find the link that points the opposite direction first in order to suggest it. 1Password Version: 8.5.0 Extension Version: Not Provided OS Version: Windows 10 21H2666Views7likes33CommentsFavorites in 1Password 8 now showing me everybody's
I have only a few favorites in 1Password and this was an excellent way to find "My Favorites". All of a sudden, I am now seeing favorites which other people who have shared vaults are marking as their favorites. The odd thing is, I can turn them off if I want, but then that removes it from their favorite list. Is there a way to have our own favorites only show up in favorites. We have a large team of people sharing vaults from different cities. I am not enjoying searching through everything to find mine. I may as well not use favorites anymore. 1Password Version: Not Provided Extension Version: Not Provided OS Version: Not Provided1.9KViews6likes56CommentsAuto-type for Windows - now available in Labs (Nightly)
Happy Monday folks! I wanted to let our avid 1Password for Windows users know that we've just added the ability to auto-type your logins through Quick Access! Fill and submit your username and password into any standard login form - including desktop applications, terminals, VMs and more - with the use of a handy shortcut. If you have 2FA added to the login, we'll even copy the one-time code into your clipboard for you! To turn it on, you have to be on the current Nightly build of 1Password for Windows (coming to Beta and Stable versions soon), go to Settings, select Labs in the left sidebar, select Auto-type and toggle the feature on. You'll now have the ability to auto-type any login into any selected field(s) through Quick Access (Ctrl+Shift+Space). It should appear as the default action for logins, but you can always activate Auto-type by hitting Shift+Enter. There are some things to note about Auto-type. This is NOT Universal Autofill for Windows - it won't detect fields or provide suggestions, but after using it over the past few weeks, it gets close to the same magic feeling. Once you invoke Quick Access and find the login you'd like to fill, you'll see the Auto-type option appear as the default (Enter) action. Once you activate, we will type your username into the currently selected field, press Tab, type your password, and press enter. If you have 2FA enabled and stored in the login item, we'll copy it to your clipboard so you can paste it yourself. Right now, we're looking for feedback to see if this functionality is useful and should be promoted out of Labs to all 1Password for Windows Stable builds. If you give it a try, please fill out https://www.1passwordresearchcommunity.com/c/a/6qnMMWiUWkHE6TA33Zae6w so we can continue to fine tune the feature. I hope you all have a wonderful week and I look forward to hearing from those who've tried this. Cheers!1.3KViews6likes0Comments1Password for Windows (Arm)
