My employer has multiple webpages which prompt for logins by opening up a login page on the fly. All of the login pages have urls which contain a common initial segment, say whoami.company.org, but the rest of the string is generated on the fly at every login request. I don't want to use 1Password for any of these logins. But since the url is not fixed, I can't simply add this url to 1Password and control its AutoFill behaviour. Is there any way I can rule out 1Password prompts for any url which contains whoami.company.org? 1Password Version: 8.10.56 Extension Version: 8.10.56.28 OS Version: Ubuntu 22.04 Browser: Chrome

The oldest request that I found on this forum for better handling of two-line addresses was in 2014. The responses from the 1Password team made it sound like the request was taken seriously, and that something might happen. Additional requests show up at intervals, and especially in 2020. Each time, the requests received encouraging words. But no results. A two-line address is a traditional, standard, and important feature supported/required by the US Postal Service for mailing anything to many addresses, or for entering a viable address in a web form. It is also important that 1Password offer more flexibility, when a single-line address needs a name or department associated with it, in a 1Password Secure Note, or other 1Password item. For example, I have a secure note titled Ojo de Agua Water Station. It contains the codes I need to dispense 300 gallons of drinking water, which I then haul to my house. Within the note, I have the mailing address for making water payments.

The MCP server docs has two named tabs: Codex and Kiro. Hi,I noticed an issue in the 1Password app on iOS and iPadOS regarding collections.I have 5 collections in 1Password. In the past, the app used to remember the collection I last had open and would reopen there when I launched the app again. (I am not completely sure, but I also seem to remember there may once have been a setting related to opening in a collection.)Now, whenever I open 1Password again after some time, it always opens the main vault instead, where I see all items from all collections. Since the last update of the 1Password app on my iPhone and the corresponding update of the Safari extension, I have see this error at least once a day. I am using 1Password version 8.12.24.I tried clearing cache items related to 1Password and I tried reinstalling the app. 

I have been on the Beta for 1Password for MacOS. I’ve been relying on the native 1Password autofill to make passkeys work in Safari. Today, I got a notification that it is “under exploration(?)” and that I should disable it.Now I can’t get passkeys to work in Safari with Dropbox. I cannot manage to store any passkeys of Microsoft Business Acounts to 1Password.I have disabled the key attestation and key restrictions in EntraID and also tried to ad the AAGUID of 1Password to the allow list.Microsoft used to only support device-bound passkeys, but according to Microsoft docs, synced keys (as with 1Password) should be allowed when setting Enforce attestation to No. See https://learn.microsoft.com/en-us/entra/identity/authentication/how-to-enable-passkey-fido2If you set Enforce attestation to No, users can register any type of passkey. It seems that relatively recently markdown was enabled on the web app and no option was created to disable it.I think markdown needs to be kept disabled until a toggle/setting is also created that allows the user to disable it.Historically notes did not support it and were written for many years assuming they would be rendered as plaintext.  By forcing it to be enabled, it basically corrupts a lot of notes: notes which were written not assuming markdown may end up having crazy formatting, missing characters, added elements, etc.  I don’t see how it’s a smart decision to force this on the users without an option to disable.

I’m at a complete loss. I allowed 1Password to create a passkey for my facebook account but when another app wants to use my facebook login and it asks for username and password, the only thing I can see now is the passkey and that won’t work. This passkey system is garbage. I keep running into similar problems where I’ve created a passkey for a site but the next time I try to login it’s asking for the password which I no longer have. I’ve got useless passkeys piling up, because every time I go back I have to reset the password to get in and the next time around it asks me to create a passkey which is then useless the next time I log in.

Hi,I'm using Fedora Silverblue and have installed 1Password as a layered app because it causes too many problems as a Flatpak. There are situations where paste is unavailable. I run into it often with virtual consoles and remote keyboard/monitor/mouse adapters. The interface doesn't support copy/paste into or out of the UI.  I understand the lack of copy, often the UI is a graphical representation of a screen and not actual text.  But the lack of paste causes issues, especially with complex passwords and short timeouts.Would it be possible for 1Password to pretend to be a human interface device, or just perform an text entry on behalf of the user? Something like "type the password for me in 10 seconds" or "in 5 second types the username, enter, the password, and enter" long enough so I can change windows and then let 1Password type for me?

I am running 1Password 8.12.26 with Safari 26.6 (21624.4.5.11.3) under macOS Tahoe 26.6 beta 5 (25G5065a). Under 26.6 beta 4 everything was working just fine but since updating my Mac to 26.6 beta 5 1Password no longer autofills anything. It does not offer autofills for fields in the browser and if I click the Safari taskbar 1Password icon it opens 1Password to the correct entry but if I click on ‘Autofill’ there nothing happens. I have restarted the Mac several times since the update but it just isn't working. Is this a known issue? If so is there a fix?

Hi. I am a long time 1Password user. I recently set up a new service that uses TOTPs. The problem I am having is that the codes needed for this service are synchronized with a period of 300 seconds (5 minutes). But when the URI is inputted into the TOTP field in 1Password the generated codes have a period of 30 seconds. I have tried changing the values of the period to test the problem and have found that codes are generated with the correct period only for period values under 256. Any period value above that is ignored and defaulted to 30 seconds. (Without showing any error or warning). I am opening this discussion to report this as a bug, as other services (such as Apple Passwords app) accept the 300 seconds period and generate the correct codes. 1Password should to be able to generate TOTPs with periods longer than 255. When selecting the "Settings" option in the Haptic Touch menu (by pressing and holding the iOS app icon), the "Settings" screen does not open as expected, but only opens the app on the last opened screen. The localization of the Haptic Touch options is also missing. For example, even if German is selected as the language in iOS and 1Password, the "Settings" "Home" and "Search" labels are displayed in English. If you press and hold the iOS and iPadOS app icon of 1Password, the context menu is displayed, which includes quick access to Home, Settings and Search. However, this has not been translated into German. Environment: Windows 11, 1Password 8.12.26 (reproduced on both the Microsoft Store build and the direct download; fresh reinstall does not help). Browser extension installed in Chrome, Yandex Browser and Edge.Summary: 1Password-BrowserSupport.exe never exits when its native messaging channel closes. Since Chromium-based browsers regularly suspend and restart MV3 extension service workers, every restart spawns a new helper (plus its conhost.exe), and the old one stays alive forever. The result is a steady leak of roughly one process per minute per browser, 24/7, that slowly kills the whole machine.Measured impact on my system (Ryzen 9 7950X, 64 GB RAM):- After ~2.5 days of uptime: 2,510 × 1Password-BrowserSupport.exe + 2,520 × conhost.exe = 5,399 total processes (normal for this machine is ~370).- Commit charge 83 GB of 127 GB.- Ephemeral UDP port exhaustion (Tcpip event 4266), DNS timeouts.- Performance counter subsystem failing with WMI quota violations — Task Manager's Performance ta

@1P_Dave so glad this extension exists. BUT it is still one of the only frictionful points of using zen as my primary browser. frequently (though i can't tell exactly what gets me to this state) 1password looses its trust/connection while in zen and i have to go to the extension in the toolbar to click arbitrarily to "re-establish" the connection with the desktop app. this is much clunkier than how it works in chrome. hoping one day this will be ironed out because i obviously use 1password all day long on my computer. thanks!
