Hi everyone,I'm experiencing the exact same issue when trying to redeem the 1Password offer via the GitHub Student Developer Pack. When I navigate to [https://1password.com/developers/students](https://1password.com/developers/students) and click "Sign in with GitHub", the authentication flow fails: The GitHub authorization screen displays the app as "1Password for Student Developers (test)". After authorizing, it attempts to redirect to [https://b5dev.com](https://b5dev.com) instead of returning to 1password.com. The page fails and shows a "Something went wrong" error message. Could someone from the support team please take a look or help link/verify my account for the offer? Thanks in advance!

Hey everyone!Native macOS AutoFill is now generally available in 1Password for Mac. This has been one of the most requested features for years, and it's now ready for everyone on the stable channel. Here's what macOS AutoFill gives you:By adopting Apple's Passwords API, 1Password functions as a native Credential Provider on macOS for logins. You can view autofill suggestions directly within Safari and other supported desktop apps. Passkey support is built in. Fill, create, and update passkeys easily through macOS AutoFill. The 1Password Safari extension works alongside macOS AutoFill. Login suggestions appear in Safari's native menu, and the extension continues to fill credit cards, addresses, and other items the Passwords API doesn't support yet. One-time code support through the same integration is on the way and will land in an upcoming release. How to turn it on:Update to 1Password for macOS 8.12.32 or later. Go to 1Password for Mac Settings > Autofill > Set up macOS AutoFill,

ContextI use the 1Password SSH Agent for three things with different trust levels: pulling/pushing git over SSH, signing git commits with an SSH key, and opening interactive SSH sessions to production servers.I also run an AI coding agent (Claude Code) as one of the applications with access to my SSH key. It only ever needs to git pull. It should never sign a commit on my behalf, and it should never open an SSH connection to a server.ProblemThe only control over prompt frequency (Settings → Developer → Advanced → "Ask approval for each new") is one global setting shared by every application. I currently keep it on "application and terminal session" – the strictest option short of "request", per the docs – specifically so that no single app gets standing access. In practice this means opening or resuming a coding session in the desktop app triggers a manual approval click – there's no terminal in the app's own UI; that label is just how 1Password categorizes the shell process running un

I’ve been a user (and recommend-er) of 1password for several years now (over 7, apparently!). Recently though, there was some related news that seemed rather...concerning:https://omarchy.org/news/2026/08/1password-and-37signals-become-distinguished-corporate-patrons/*At a glance*, this is just 1Password giving money to a Linux distro—which is, in isolation, a good thing! But I’m not sure if *this* particular distro is the one that should have been used.Omarchy is a security mess. 4.0 included some absolutely horrifying security issues, due to an over-reliance on AI-generated glue scripts that did not bother to safely pass values around: https://blog.happyfellow.dev/merchants-of-insecurity/The 4.0.1 changelog (https://github.com/omacom/omarchy/releases/tag/v4.0.1) includes fixes for:Command injection via video titles Bash injection via notifications Lua injection via USB device names Command injection in the `sudo reset` helper Privilege escalation via path injection, due to helper scri

Some site do not function very well with autofillOne of my site where I have two possible logins ( me and my wife) only shows one as autofillI want to opt out for autofill on that site ( and some others )No way I see I can do thisor tell me how, or add the option for each site to be able to opt out and it seems I cannot deactivate autofill totally, it only shows ACTIVE, this is wrongThanks

I have an iPhone 14 Pro Max running iOS 27 beta 4. When I try to open 1Password 7, the app closes immediately without any error message. Consequently, I am unable to access all my passwords and secure notes.

When trying to login to a locally hosted website that doesn't have an SSL cert, I don't get the prompt to fill passwords any longer. This used to work. Is this a known bug/feature? iPhone 11 running ios 26.6.11Password for IOS 8.12.32

Fidelity (https://www.fidelity.com) cleverly obfuscates the login username by replacing the trailing characters with asterisks. So, for example, if your login is “123456789”, the web UI obfuscates it to “******789”.1Password sees the obfuscated version and offers to save it. In subsequent login attempts, 1Password fills the Username field with the obfuscated text. This issue isn’t new. It’s longstanding. I just hit it again, though, and figured I’d report it in case there’s something you can do about it. Thanks.

The result isa desktop-sized layout painted into a small window, so the password field isclipped and cannot be fully seen or comfortably typed into.## Steps to reproduce1. Run a Wayland compositor with a fractional display scale (1.6 here).2. Start 1Password (locked).3. I have an entry (test1) in 1pass that has 2 websites listed in this order:https://AA.BB.example.com/CC     ← this is marked as never fill on this websitehttps://example.com     ← this is marked as fill anywhere on this websiteThe intention is that if I go to any URL in example.com EXCEPT for AA.BB.example.com/CC, it will fill in login/pw.   If I go to  AA.BB.example.com/CC, it should not fill in login/pw from test1.  I have another entry (test2) that is exclusive to that URL.Turns out, when I do go to  AA.BB.example.com/CC, it is filling in from test1.   I tried switching the website order, but no change.Am I doing something wrong?  Or misunderstand how this should work?TIA

Hello,I have been using 1password for a long time, both at work and privately, I must admit that I like this application very much. I would like to introduce my family with this password manager, but the problem here is the language barrier. Why, despite the passage of so many years, there is still no Polish language support?

Hy guys, I would love to have with all the other label I create an automatic one that list only all the items that have no label at all so that I can filter them quickly and add all my labels in a more quick way instead of find the “culprit” navigating them one by one. Thanks!! 1Password Version: Not Provided Extension Version: Not Provided OS Version: Not Provided Browser: Not Provided

Trying to log in to work SSO on Safari/MacOS, the passkey login rarely appears. I have to reload 5-10 times before 1Password finally shows passkey login (and sometimes it just doesn’t work). I have 1Password app and Safari extension unlocked. These issues seem to have started within past few weeks/last month, either due to MacOS version upgrade or 1P update (or both). Most of the time, it just displays the Safari-native passkey dialog. Other times, nothing happens (neither Safari-native nor 1Password login). Eventually (hopefully), 1Password will finally “click” and show the passkey login.I do not have these issues with same website on Firefox or Chrome -- they show 1P passkey login immediately. In Safari extension, I have tried with “universal login” enabled & disabled, with no change. I did not enable “MacOS Autofill”, as that was a worse experience overall.1P version: 812360401P Safari extension: 8.12.37.1Safari: 27.0.1MacOS: 27.0.1

Some background: as a Salesforce developer, I manage multiple test user accounts in a dev environment as part of implementation. Salesforce now requires all accounts to have a passkey — passwords are not enough. If an account is initially with a password, then upon next login a passkey must be created. The issue:when creating a passkey, 1Password then will show a dialog to either create a new item or update the wrong item (e.g., another user account). There is no way to select the correct 1Password item. So I end up creating a new item, and having to copy all the information from the old entry.

Since very recently, each time I use the universal sign in for login (see below), 1Password now display all login choices at each step of the login process (see next picture). It looks very cumbersome and is very distracting. Can we turn those off in 1Password Extension Settings (Safari): I tried everything to no avail.

It would be great to have full integration. in the near term, how about just understanding the DuckDuckGo saved password format, so I could import them?

Hi, I am curios why is Save in 1Password only allowed on mobile Safari and not on other mobile browsers?

Very often I need to authenticate with a service using a hardware device that has a passkey not stored in 1Password. The old extension provided a way to bailout to the system in these cases. Here is where I was able to do that in the old extension: I don’t see any way to do that here. I have tried clicking the ‘x’, hitting escape, and other key combinations to no avail. Please help! Thanks.

I'm using the latest version on my mac (1Password for Mac 8.10.58 81058041, on PRODUCTION channel) and almost everytime I open 1p I have to set the collection to the one I want -- it sets the one with all the vaults. What I'm doing wrong?! This is like that for years already! And it is very annoying as sometimes I forget to change and end up using an old passord from my archieve vault. Thank you.

Hi, I'm using 1Password in different OS’es and in iOS I have a very annoying issue since I've upgraded to iOS 27.In apps like Chrome browser, or within any app that opens a web view where I must fill out the credentials from 1Password, the credentials are simply not filled out.Normally the auto-suggested login option presented above the keyboard works, but if the suggestion is wrong and I must open 1password from the key icon to then select the correct item, it doesn't fill out the credentials. This is very very annoying. Is this a known issue? If so, when do you plan to fix it?Also, the suggested option since some versions ago is simply wrong in many cases, specially when having multiple login items that might show up for that URL, even if I add the full website URL to the login entry. Is there any trick to improve the accuracy of the suggested item?I'm using 1Password for iOS 8.12.38 (81238034.

Hi,I use 1Password on my work computer where Firefox is the default browser in MacOS settings. But I want to open links in Brave browser when I click on Open and fill in an item on the 1Password desktop app. Can we please provide this override functionality?
