Why is the Hide Pages feature still so poorly designed after all these years? Why?
I've tested many similar products, and 1Password's Hide Pages feature is by far the worst. Currently, it only allows specifying a single URL per entry. The most ridiculous part is that until today's update, there wasn't even a delete function—and even now, you can only delete all entries at once, with no option to remove individual ones. Why can't users exclude pages freely based on patterns, such as by domain or wildcard matching? I've noticed that users have been raising issues about this feature in the community every year. Why, after so many years, has 1Password managed to make such a fundamental feature so incredibly poor? Why?

Hello jejir96995! 👋
Thank you for the feedback! The "Hide on this page" feature is something that our team has been listening to feedback about and been improving over time. Here are some of the improvements that have been implemented since the feature was launched:
- You can now view all of the websites that you've hidden (the new feature you mentioned in your post).
- “Hide on this page” settings will now be remembered even after a browser restart.
-
“Hide on this page” now also hides passkeys and sign-in-with prompts.
These improvements were implemented based on direct feedback from the community and other channels and we plan on continuing to build and improve the feature going forward.

The Reset Hidden Pages option has been available in 1Password in the browser since 2025. What's changed recently is that you can now view a list of all of the websites where you've chosen to hide 1Password.
I understand the value of being able to unhide individual pages, as well as hide pages based on domain/wildcard patterns, and I've shared your suggestion with our team. While I can't make any promises about future plans, it's certainly something our team will consider as we continue improving the Hide on this page feature.
