Also, does your app integration for paswordless features offer clients the ability to add custom applications ?

1Password Team
At this time, our passwordless features are primarily designed to work with supported applications and integrations that align with our security and authentication architecture. While we do not currently offer direct tooling or APIs for clients to add custom applications to passwordless workflows, we are actively exploring deeper integration capabilities based on enterprise customer needs.
If you have a specific use case or application in mind, we encourage you to connect with our Solutions or Support teams. Your feedback plays an important role in shaping future development priorities.

for your user lifecycle functionality, is it possible for you to control provisioning at a group level for every application, or do you have to manage at the user level?

Yes, Trelica supports provisioning access to apps at a group level through the use of Access Policies tied to Teams, enabling automated app access management beyond individual users.
If your IdP or HR system records individuals' teams or departments, you can import this information into Trelica automatically. This ensures that team-based access policies always reflect your source of truth, and provisioning decisions remain accurate and up to date.

How long has 1Password offered IDP services, are you all becoming another competitor for Okta?

Today, 1Password does not offer an identity provider (IdP) service. Instead, we integrate seamlessly with all leading IdPs, including Okta, Azure AD, Google Workspace, and others. Our focus is on enhancing what IdPs already provide by securing the last mile of access—where credentials, devices, and human behavior come into play.
