Using 1Password Alongside iCloud Passwords
I’m running both iCloud Passwords and 1Password in Safari. Each has different sets of credentials, so I switch between them depending on the account.
The issue: when I log in with iCloud Passwords, 1Password still pops up asking me to save those credentials.
Is there any way to stop 1Password from prompting in this situation? Or is it just something you have to live with if you run both password managers in Safari?
Would love to hear if anyone’s figured out a workaround.

Hello capt_beard! 👋
Thanks for the question! I don't recommend that you use two different password managers at the same time since you'll run into the sorts of conflicts that you mentioned. 1Password is designed to store all of your credentials and then you can use collections or different vaults to choose the credentials that you need at a particular moment.
If you do need to use a different password manager for some things then I recommend either using a different Safari profile or a different browser for those different purposes to isolate each password manager. That being said, I'd love to learn more about why you're using two different password managers at the same time.
For the browser/profile where you're using 1Password, you can find our guide on turning off the built-in password manager here: Turn off the built-in password manager in your browser
