I'm sorry to hear of the troubles you've encountered when trying to view the password history from a login that is opened in a new window. I just tried to reproduce this issue but have been unable to do so with the latest Nightly version of 1Password 8 for Windows.

Can you try updating to the latest version of the Nightly and let us know if this works better for you? Thanks!
