[ Device Support ] Xiaomi Pad 5 — Biometric Unlock

Hello, please add support to Xiaomi Pad 5 biometric unlock (e.g. Face Unlock)

Currently, even if you enable biometric unlock, you can't unlock Xiaomi Pad 5 with your face. You'll have to either type the Master Password or PIN.

    Security is our number one priority here at 1Password, so there are a few device requirements in order to enable Face Unlock with 1Password. 1Password requires devices to use Google's native Biometric framework as well as use strong encryption. To clarify, many devices have some sort of face or iris unlock option, but they don't support Google's native Biometric framework. Even if they do, some of them don't support strong encryption. Currently, this support is limited to the Pixel 4, Pixel 4XL devices and a few other devices. I don't believe Xiaomi is supporting this yet.

    If available on the Pad 5, you may be able to use your fingerprint to unlock 1Password.
