1password 8.11.14 will not start on MacOS 15.7.1

Hello StokeMasterJack​! 👋

I'm sorry that 1Password isn't launching on your Mac. Are you running the app inside of a virtual machine by any chance? 

Can you try the following to launch 1Password without hardware acceleration: 

  1. Right-click the 1Password icon in the menu bar and choose Quit. (If you see the icon.)
  2. Open Terminal, which is in the Utilities folder of your Applications folder.
  3. Type in: /Applications/1Password.app/Contents/MacOS/1Password --disable-gpu
    • Press Enter. 


If this allows 1Password to open, then turn off hardware acceleration: 

  1. Click 1Password in the menu bar and choose Settings.
  2. Click Advanced, then turn off Use Hardware Acceleration.


If the Terminal command doesn't work then can you see if 1Password will open in Safe Mode: Start up your Mac in safe mode
