1Password 8 automatically filling a junk login when pressing ⌘\.

After upgrading to 1Password 8, oftentimes after not using 1P for a while, I'll go to fill a password and it will randomly fill an unrelated login on the website that I'm interacting with. It appears...

This is a bug we're investigating, and have sorted out on our beta and nightly releases. If you'd like to give the beta release a try, you can switch using the steps here:

Use 1Password beta releases

In the meantime, if you look in your 1Password items for a Login that has a Linked App of Chrome, editing that item and removing the link should improve your state of play.
