I'm sorry that the 1Password app isn't opening, do you receive any error messages when the window closes? We've received reports that hardware acceleration can cause an issue like this, can you try turning it off:
- Try to unlock 1Password for Windows and note that the main window doesn't open.
- Right-click on the 1Password icon in the taskbar (bottom right of your screen) and select Settings.
- Click on Advanced and uncheck the option for Use Hardware Acceleration.
Then try to open 1Password again. Do you see the same issue?-Dave

i dont even have an icon showing up to be able to try the suggested solution.
If I have the task manager opened I can see that 1Password app opens for a few seconds and automatically closes again. I do not see a window though.

I'm sorry that those steps didn't work for you and that 1Password is still failing to open. To investigate this further, I'd like to ask for some log files from your end. Follow these steps:
- Press Win + R to open the Run dialog.
- Copy and paste this into the Run dialog and then press Enter: %localappdata%\\1Password\\logs
- Select everything in this folder, and then right-click and choose Send to > Compressed (zipped) folder. If youโre using Windows 11, right-click and choose Show More Options > Send to > Compressed (zipped) folder).
