1Password app won't open on Mac running Sonoma

When I try to open the 1password app 8 I get the following message: "1Password can’t to open your saved data, however your data is still safe in your account. Contact mailto:support@1password.com for help." I tried removing the app and reinstalling but get the same message. Browser extension still works.

1Password Version: 8
Extension Version: 2.16.0
OS Version: macOS 14.0
Browser: Chrome
