1Password error with Mac OS method to make accent characters
I have an item in my 1Password vault called "Crédit Mutuel" -- It's the name of a French Bank. I want to link this item to the corresponding credit card which is named "Crédit Mutuel Mastercard" using 1Password's "Add More" > "Link to a related item" feature.
But, when that feature is used the window that pops causes an error when I try to use the Mac OS method for entering accent characters. To make an é character, that method involves holding down the e key and waiting for a little window that shows which number to press to replace the e with an é. Specifically, I start to type the name of the credit card and when I get to the é part it ends up showing "Ceé" instead of "Cré". That is, the r has been erased and an unwanted e appears.
To demonstrate exactly what I see I've included an animated gif. (If you don't see the animated gif repeat, drag it to the desktop and re-drag it into a fresh tab of your browser). After the error that I mentioned occurs, I use the arrow keys to replace the r that was deleted and remove the unwanted e -- of course, that shouldn't need to be done in a native Mac OS app.
I'm using 1Password for Mac 8.10.9 (81009046) on a MacAir M1, 2020
